Which peptides are banned in sport?

Content updated · how dates work

Of the 117 peptides and related compounds PepsRadar profiles, 27 are named on the 2026 World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List, 47 more are likely covered by one of its class rules, and 43 are not on it.

WADA’s list applies to athletes in Olympic sports and to the many federations and leagues that adopt it. Section S0 bans, at all times, any substance with no government approval for human medical use, which covers most research peptides even when they are not named. Some organizations, including U.S. college and professional leagues, keep their own lists: check the one that governs your sport. A substance that is not banned is not thereby safe or legal to use.
