Questions and AI

Ask PepsRadar sends your question to our Cloudflare-hosted server. When an AI answer is generated, the question and selected reference excerpts are processed by Cloudflare Workers AI. The application does not save visitor questions or answers to its database. This does not mean that hosting and network providers process no technical data.

Cloudflare describes its handling of AI inputs and outputs in its Workers AI data usage documentation. Do not enter names, medical records, or other sensitive information.

Cookies, browser storage, and security

The private construction preview uses an essential login cookie lasting up to eight hours. It ends when that time passes or when you clear this site's cookies. Your theme choice and My Radar reading list stay in your browser storage; clearing site data removes them. There is no visitor account or cross-device reading-list sync.

Cloudflare processes network information to deliver and protect the site. Our application stores keyed fingerprints of IP addresses and temporary usage counters for rate limits, rather than raw IP addresses. Counters are scheduled for deletion after expiry; daily AI counters expire after two days. Fingerprints are pseudonymous security identifiers, not guaranteed anonymous data.

External sources and media

Loading YouTube thumbnails, playing embedded videos, or opening an external source contacts that provider, which may receive your IP address and browser information and use its own cookies. Supplier links open in a separate tab. External websites have their own privacy policies. PepsRadar does not handle supplier payments or checkout details.

Editorial records and email

Source metadata, editorial revisions, and private editor drafts are stored in our research database. Operational collector-run records are retained for up to 30 days. If you email us, your message and contact details are used to handle your request and may be retained for follow-up and recordkeeping.

Site performance measurements

The public production site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and loading performance. Its beacon is excluded from the construction preview, editor, login, chatbot, search pages, and URLs containing query parameters. It is not used to collect AI questions or answers. Cloudflare processes technical information to provide these measurements and describes its data collection in its Web Analytics documentation. PepsRadar also keeps its own daily totals of a few actions: which source and seller links are opened, which videos are played, how often the research assistant is asked a question, and the words typed into site search. These are stored only as counts per day, without cookies, network addresses, visitor identifiers or AI question text, and are deleted after about 13 months. When you follow an affiliate link, the seller’s own website may use cookies to credit the referral; that happens on the seller’s site under its privacy policy. These measurements are separate from operational security data processed by the hosting service.

Advertising and affiliate links

Advertising spaces are currently placeholders; Google advertising is not enabled. Supplier links currently use direct URLs. If advertising or affiliate tracking is activated, we will update this policy and implement any applicable consent controls before activation.

Email admin@pepsradar.com for privacy questions or requests concerning information you supplied. Include enough detail to identify the request, without sending unnecessary sensitive information. The applicable rights and response requirements depend on your location.
