Before sharing an older episode, check the date and the product
How we separate historical podcast discussion from current regulatory source material.
Keep two dates
Save the episode’s publication date and the date you checked its sources. A discussion recorded in 2024 may still be interesting, but its statements about availability or approval need a fresh check.
Identify the exact product
An ingredient name, a prescription, and FDA approval are not interchangeable facts. FDA says compounded drugs are not FDA approved. Its GLP-1 guidance is a useful primary source when reviewing claims about those products.
Read what an agency document actually says
A committee agenda records subjects for consideration. It does not by itself establish a final decision or approval of a drug product. PepsRadar links the 2026 committee materials without inferring an outcome. When a source does not answer a question, we leave it open.
